I had never seen blue eyes
darker than night
Or a silver-haired princess
fearing the light
For who would hide feelings
feeling they'd hurt?
Cherish the soul
that is caged in a bird?
|
I had never seen penguins
preparing to fly
Yet I couldn't have had
as there wasn't a way
For the mountain too huge
and the rock much too thick
Granted limited sight
to just outside of it
